Consistently order Khadai paneer, this is probably the best khadai paneer I've ever eaten anywhere worldwide. Same level of consistency is maintained in Blantyre. Best curry worldwide. Edit 2025 By far the tastiest Indian food I have ever eaten in my life, and I've been around the world now. If I'm ever in Malawi, I'm only eating here. The kadai paneer is legendary, never tasted anything like this anywhere globally.

Excellent food. Wide variety. I did not try the Chinese. The Indian is authentic and really good (I claim to be able to judge that though far from being Indian). The sauces with the starter-papads were excellent (which is a bit rare). Atmosphere good, relaxed. Bit hidden location. Very good.

The food and service were very good but I thought a little slow. When the owner asked me how everything was mentioned that the food had been very slow. He apologized and explained that the spring rolls I had as an appetizer were made fresh by hand and take longer than other dishes. The spring rolls definitely tasted fresh and were better than any other place in town. I will make this my Indian destination when in Lilongwe.

Love love love this place, it's always my first choice as citizen here. Amazing atmosphere, service and food. Prices are SO reasonable. It's just great!! Owner is so sweet and super accomodating. Please please please try this place 🫡 I've tried so butter chicken from literally all possible restaurants in Lilongwe but nothing beats the one at Bombay.

Probably one of the best Indian Restaurants in Lilongwe. Prices are very reasonable, the food quality and quantity is perfect. Plenty of safe parking in the shopping centres parking lot. The restaurant is air-conditioned which makes a big difference. Management always come to meet and greet the customers. Highly recommended.

Really good Indian in the heart of Lilongwe! Get the delicious appetizer that's basically a huge fried disc covered in fresh tomatoes, onions and herbs. I came here twice on a four night visit to the city. My only regret is that they don't have saag paneer.

That is one of the best Indian restaurants In the world... each time I'm in Malawi I'll have to go there at least each second evening. Ask for the Okra Masala, it is not in the menu, but it is legendary! Keep up the fantastic work.

I have no words. The best Indian food in Lilongwe. I had Butter chicken and butter Naan bread. It was exceptional. Last time I visited it was 5 years ago and trust me… their food is still delicious. Favorite restaurant thus far. Plus staff is friendly and attentive . Prices are fair and reasonable. Portions are very sharable.
